SpiritVale Cosmetics Guide – Skins, Mounts & Pets

SpiritVale v0.30.0 launched a full in-game cosmetics store, moving purchases from external Ko-Fi donations to an integrated balance system. Weapon skins, costume sets, mounts, pets, and emotes are all cosmetic-only with no combat power advantage. This guide covers every cosmetic category, how to purchase, Kickstarter exclusives, and what Baikun Interactive confirmed about monetization ethics.

Cosmetic-Only Monetization

Baikun Interactive committed to cosmetic-only microtransactions during Early Access. The ~$15 USD buy-to-play purchase includes all seven base classes, eight advanced jobs, and full combat progression. Cosmetics change appearance only—weapon skins, costumes, mounts, pets, and emotes do not alter stats, damage, or drop rates.

v0.30.0 moved the cosmetics store in-game. Click your balance in the client to browse and purchase. The previous Ko-Fi donation link is no longer used. Optional purchases support ongoing development without creating pay-to-win gaps.

Character slot purchases are convenience-only quality-of-life, not power. Kickstarter backers received exclusive cosmetic items listed below.

Weapon Cosmetics

Weapon cosmetic skins apply visual appearances to compatible weapons without changing stats. Use Cosmetic Converters to unlock weapon appearances for your collection. Umbral weapon cosmetics include special variants like the Bone Gatling Gun and Launcher skins for Gunslinger players.

Weapon cosmetics display to other players in town, parties, and PvP arena. They respect your current weapon type—Gatling skins show on Gatling guns after the v0.30.0 Gunslinger rework unlocked Heavy Loadout weapons.

Cosmetic Converters may come from store purchases, events, or promotions. Save converters for weapons you use daily rather than experimental off-meta gear.

SpiritVale Early Access Launch Overview

Costume Sets and Accessories

Full costume sets available at launch include:

  • Sunken Set
  • Fox Sets (Fire and Ice variants)
  • Easter Bunny Set
  • Priest Set
  • Wizard Set

Accessory cosmetics include Head Ribbon, Kamen Red Face, and Necro Skull Face. Costumes overlay your armor visually while equipped gear stats remain unchanged underneath.

Fashion is a long-term community pillar in Ragnarok-inspired MMOs. SpiritVale leans into this with town social spaces where cosmetic choices signal dedication and support for Baikun's development.

Mounts, Pets, and Emotes

Mounts include Fire Fox, Ice Fox, updated Horse and Griffin mounts. Pets include Banana Duck, Green Whale, and updated Cats, Dogs, and Griffin pets. Mounts and pets follow your character in the world as visual companions.

The emote system launched barebones in v0.30.0. Type /emote in chat to play your equipped emote animation. Expect expanded emote libraries in future patches as Baikun develops the social layer.

Pets and mounts from the store are distinct from combat summons used by Summoner and Necromancer classes. Class summons affect combat; cosmetic pets do not.

Kickstarter backers and special event participants received exclusive cosmetics not available in the standard store:

  • Cuervo, Angel of Vale, Demonic outfits (Kickstarter)
